Non Profit Status Approved - We have completed the final stage of our restructuring and have received our 501c3 non-profit status recognition for ChurchAsia Inc. My son Shane has taken over the duties that were provided through GSMA last year and has done a superb job.

First Board Meeting - We held our first board meeting in July. Serving on the board are Pastor Jim Clark, Carl Everett, director of BCCN and Hank Henegan, Pastor Larry Stockstill's assistant. I have known these three senior men for over 20 years and all are highly respected leaders at Bethany World Prayer Center. Pastor Larry continues to serve as our pastor. These three men represent three important spheres of influence: Pastor Jim Clark, the pastoral overseer; Carl Everett, the national outreach of Bethany World Prayer Center; and Hank Henegan, the business community. For healthy growth, we need the influence, input and direction these three men have to offer.

Future Growth - Our church plants continue to thrive and our finances have begun to increase. Our annual income last year was $367,903 and our income this year is holding steady at a little above that pace. This has allowed us to pour resources into church buildings and land, greatly accelerating the work. My goal is one million per year by 2012 and I believe, with the help of the Lord, this goal is well within our reach. Bev and I have been faithful to responsibly channel funds to the field and we are releasing our faith for continued increase.

Local Churches - I believe that establishing local churches is the only effective mission task that is scriptural and sound. The churches we plant are self-supporting, self-governing and self-multiplying. ChurchAsia clearly defines our remaining life purpose...to establish strong congregations in Asia .

Itinerary - We have been traveling the past three months here in the States, and it's been fruitful. The Lord has given us new partners and increased our connections here in America. We leave August 15th for Asia and will return the week before Christmas. Most of that time will be spent in Nepal where we hope to launch a building project, develop leaders for the next 50 village church plants, and double the size of the model church there.
